VOTE JANUARY 26, 2027

Hanover Township will hold a special election called a bond referendum on Tuesday, January 26, 2027. The district encourages every eligible resident of Hanover Township to cast a ballot.

VOTER REGISTRATION

Make sure your voter registration is up to date. If you previously registered to vote with the same name and Hanover Township address, you do not need to take action.

Check the New Jersey voter registration database if you recently moved and are unsure if your registration is up to date.

Register to vote or update your information, including a legal name or address change, on the state voter information portal by January 5.

Forms are also available in English and Spanish.

Mail your completed form to the Morris County Commissioner of Registration, PO Box 900, Morristown, NJ, 07963-9912.

Some voters have asked that a Vote By Mail ballot be sent to them automatically for all elections.

Check your Vote By Mail status by contacting the Election Office at elections@co.morris.nj.us.

Apply for a Vote By Mail ballot if you aren’t already scheduled to automatically receive one. To receive a ballot in the mail, your application in English or Spanish must arrive at the County Clerk’s Office no later than Tuesday, January 19.

To receive a ballot in person, go to the County Clerk’s Election Division by 3 p.m. on Monday, January 25. Ask for a Vote By Mail application.

Mail your ballot by the day of the election! All mailed ballots must be postmarked by January 26 or delivered to a drop box or turned in at the County Clerk’s office.

*Mail-in ballots cannot be submitted at polling places.
