Before diving into important reminders and updates, we invite you to watch the video above. It features a special back-to-school message from Superintendent Justin Toomey, followed by an introduction from our new Director of Technology, Mr. Michael Falgares. The video highlights everything you need to know to start the year strong, from our district theme “Aspire to Inspire Excellence” to exciting new technology updates, including the Hanover Halo Chromebook Protection Plan, YouTube access changes, and our approach to AI in the classroom. We encourage every family to take a few minutes to watch it.

Last Friday, we shared with you our Back-to-School Guide, which is filled with everything you need to know for a smooth and successful start to the year. Then, on Monday, August 18th, the PowerSchool Parent Portal opened for families to complete the required Return-to-School Forms.

2025-2026 Placement Information

Friday, August 22 at 1:00 p.m.
Placements for all PK–5 students will be published in the Parent Portal. This information will include your child’s teacher and, if applicable, transportation details (bus number, pick-up location, and approximate pick-up time).

Memorial Junior School student schedules will be available in the Parent Portal.

We are also excited to introduce our new lunch program with Maschio’s Food Services. Please join us for the Maschio’s Parent Night on Wednesday, August 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the Memorial Junior School auditorium. The Maschio’s team will present menus, pricing, and explain how the program works. More information will follow about setting up your PaySchools account to load funds for your child.
