NJSLA Spring Asssessment

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As shared in the fall of 2025, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) has introduced new adaptive statewide assessments for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics for the 2025-2026 school year. Following the Fall Field Test for grades 4-8, students in grades 3-8 will complete the Spring administration in Reading, Writing, and Math. Please note that 8th-grade students enrolled in Algebra will take the specific Algebra assessment. Additionally, students in grades 5 and 8 will complete the Science assessment, which remains unchanged from prior years.

Due to the new assessment format, we have adjusted the testing schedule previously published on our district and school calendars. The updated schedule is as follows:
