Stakeholder Kick-off Session

Kickoff: Stakeholder Feedback Session

This session served as the official launch of the Hanover Township Public Schools 2025–2030 Strategic Planning initiative.

The evening began with an inspiring video celebrating our district and the tagline, "A Community that Inspires Excellence." The majority of the session was dedicated to providing a comprehensive overview of the four-phase strategic planning process (from defining success to creating action plans) and ensuring wide-ranging community input.

Attendees participated in a collaborative SWOT Analysis (identifying district Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). This valuable feedback will be used as a foundational resource for the Core Planning Team as they begin their work on the plan's goals and vision.

The Core Team will now translate the collective enthusiasm and input from the Kickoff and the Community Values Inventory into the foundational beliefs of the Strategic Plan.

Coming up in Core Team Session 1 (November 11, 2025):

• Establish Norms: The Core Team will set the operating agreements—or norms—that will ensure an efficient, transparent, and collaborative planning process.

• Draft Core Values: The team will begin drafting the district's Core Values based on philosophical statements and community input gathered through the initial survey and the Stakeholder Feedback Session. These values will form the philosophical foundation of the entire Strategic Plan.

• Begin Defining Our Mission: Discussions will begin on crafting a powerful and succinct District Mission Statement.
