Notice is hereby given that the Hanover Township Board of Education has changed the start time for its June 16, 2026 meeting.

Time: 5:30 PM Executive Session 7:00 PM Regular Public Meeting
Location: Memorial Junior School, Library (IMC)
Address: 61 Highland Road, Whippany, New Jersey
At 5:30 PM, the Board will convene and immediately enter executive session. The Board is expected to resume public session at approximately 7:00 PM. Action may be taken at this meeting.
This notice is provided in accordance with applicable budget hearing requirements and the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.

NOTICE OF RESCHEDULED BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
The Regular Meeting of the Hanover Township Board of Education, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
The rescheduled meeting will be held as follows:

This meeting will serve as both the Regular Meeting of the Board of Education and the Public Hearing on the 2026-2027 Annual School Budget. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
Action may be taken at this meeting. This notice is issued pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, New Jersey Statutes Annotated, Section 10:4-6 and following.

The Hanover Township Board of Education will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Junior School, where official action will be taken.
- Meetings and Governance
The Hanover Township Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a Board Member vacancy through December 31, 2026. Interested residents must submit a letter of interest and resume by January 16, 2026 at 4:00 PM. Selected applicants will be interviewed publicly at the January 20, 2026 Board of Education meeting, after which the Board will appoint a candidate in public session, subject to required legal qualifications and a criminal history background check.

Please take notice that, at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 16, 2025, the Hanover Township Board of Education shall meet for the purpose of renegotiating, amending or otherwise altering the terms of the employment contract with the Superintendent of Schools.
