I am thrilled to begin my eleventh year of teaching here at Bee Meadow School!
I look forward to what this year has in store...our hive will be abuzz with the flurry of our worker bees learning, growing, and laughing.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me. I am always happy to partner with you and help make this year a successful one!
Please be sure to check Mrs. Lavalette's Homeroom on Google Classroom for the most up-to-date assignments, projects, and due dates.

What is a B.E.E. Folder?
Your child's B.E.E. Folder is a 3-pocket folder that students use everyday to develop organizational skills and responsibility.
This 3-pocket folder houses EVERYTHING your child, you (the caregivers), and I need to keep up-to-date with what is going on in our classroom and at school. Everything will be right here in our Bee Folder!
Here is what you will find inside our Bee Folders:
Left Side- To “Bee” Left at Home Side: This section of the folder will include any school notices or returned work that is meant to be kept at home. This section should be checked and cleared out daily to facilitate organizations and communication between home and school.
Center: This section of the folder will be used to send daily homework and to keep work in progress.
Right Side- To “Bee” Brought Right Back Side: This section is for important communication between home and school. In this sections, notes to the teacher that need immediate attention such as:
- transportation changes
- doctor's appointments
- urgent concerns
should be included here. I will also use this section of the folder to send you notes that require your immediate attention, as well as tests and/or quizzes that require your signature.
