First Grade is an important year as students strengthen reading and math skills and become more responsible! Homework is extremely important and should be completed neatly and with pride. I look forward to watching your child grow as a learner and think creatively. My goal is to have your child feel confident and successful each day in my class! Please remember to READ with your child every night!  Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions! Math and Reading/Spelling Homework will be sent home in your child's binder each night.  

• Reading and Spelling homework will vary each week.  
• Math homework will always relate to the lesson taught in class.
• Please READ each night!
• Study the SPELLING LIST words for the week!
