IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION RULES

Be ready 10 minutes before the scheduled time at your bus stop.

Never run toward a moving bus.

Wait safely away from the road until the bus has stopped completely.

Board the bus calmly and respectfully. Do not push or crowd others.

Remain in your assigned seat with your seatbelt securely fastened.

No yelling, fighting, or disruptive behavior.

No eating, gum chewing, or drinking on the bus.

Place backpacks, instruments, and other belongings under your seat.

Keep all aisles, doors, and windows clear.

Follow the bus driver’s directions at all times.

Cross at least 15–20 feet in front of the bus only after receiving the driver’s signal.

Never crawl under the bus for dropped items; alert the driver immediately.
Transportation Reminders
Please remember:
- All district rules, including those regarding harassment, intimidation, and bullying, apply on school buses and will be strictly enforced.
- Students who create repeated disruptions may lose bus privileges.
- All buses are equipped with seatbelts and video surveillance systems to promote passenger and driver safety.
The Hanover Township transportation team includes experienced bus drivers, bus aides, mechanics, and couriers who work together to move students safely across the district every day.
Each team member holds current certifications and completes ongoing safety training throughout the school year. Our mechanics maintain a fleet of district vehicles to ensure reliable service in all conditions.
