The Genesis Parent Portal is now open. Beginning Wednesday, August 5, 2026, families may log in and complete their required Return-to-School Forms before the start of the new school year.

Completing these forms now gives your family a head start and ensures you will have access to your child's teacher assignments, homeroom, schedule, and bus information when they become available in the Genesis Parent Portal on Monday, August 24, 2026, after 12:00 p.m.

Getting Started: It's as Easy as 1, 2, 3

1. Go to the Genesis Parent Portal and sign in with your email address and password.
2. Complete each of the five Return-to-School Forms, saving your progress as you go.
3. Finalize all five forms for each child.

If you have more than one child enrolled in the district, you only need one Genesis account. After logging in, you will be able to switch between your children. Please remember that the Return-to-School Forms must be completed for each student.

Complete Your Return-to-School Forms

After logging in, you will be taken directly to the Forms page.

The forms take approximately 20 minutes per student to complete. You do not have to finish everything in one sitting. Simply click Update Answers at the bottom of each form to save your progress and return later if needed. When you have finished a form completely, click Update Answers and then check the box to finalize it.

The Return-to-School Forms are organized into five separate forms that may appear in any order:

• Student & Family Data Verification. Review, verify, and update parent and guardian information, emergency contacts, physicians, dentists, preferred hospitals, and other important student information.

• Policies & Acknowledgements. Review and acknowledge required district policies.

• Permissions & Consents. Complete the annual permissions and consent forms.

• Technology. Review technology information and enroll in the optional Chromebook Student Device Protection Plan.

• Health & Medical. Complete required health information. Students new to Hanover Township Public Schools must also upload a Universal Child Health Record and Immunization Record.

The Technology section includes the optional Chromebook Student Device Protection Plan for $29.99.

Last school year, several families without coverage were responsible for repair or replacement costs resulting from cracked screens, damaged keyboards, missing keys, and even devices lost while traveling. Those costs often exceeded the cost of the protection plan several times over. We strongly encourage families to consider enrolling.

Before You Finish

Genesis does not have a Submit button.

After completing each form, scroll to the bottom and click the green Update Answers button. This saves your responses.

If you are not finished, close the dialog box that appears. Your answers have already been saved, and you can return later to continue.

When you have completed the form, click Update Answers, then, when the dialog box appears, check the box to Finalize your response. This submits your completed form to the district.

All five Return-to-School Form sections must be completed for each child before teacher assignments, homerooms, student schedules, and transportation information become available on August 24.

Dates to Mark on Your Calendar

• August 5, 2026 Return-to-School Forms open in Genesis. Complete them early.
• August 24, 2026, after 12:00 p.m. Teacher assignments, homerooms, student schedules, and transportation information go live for families who have completed all forms.
