Hanover Township Public Schools is moving from PowerSchool to Genesis, our new Student Information System for the 2026-2027 school year.  Your Genesis Parent Portal account is ready. We set it up early so you have time to sign in, get comfortable, and ask for help if you need any.

Your Login Information

How to Log In

1. Click here for the Genesis Parent Portal
2. Enter your email address as your username.
3. Paste your temporary password.
4. Click Login.
5. Create a new password when prompted. This step keeps your account secure.

Choose a password you will remember. You use this password every time you sign in.

One Account for all your Children

You need only one Genesis account. Sign in with your email and every HTPS student in your family appears, no matter which school they attend.

The technology department links students in the same family across our schools this summer. You take no action to set this up. More children may appear in your account as we complete family linking across the summer.

No separate logins. No separate passwords.

What You Will See Now

Genesis holds limited information today. Your account exists so you are ready for the updates rolling out across the summer.

• Continue using PowerSchool for grades, attendance, and records from the 2025-2026 school year.
• PowerSchool stays available through June 30, 2026.
• Through July, most student information will not appear in either system while staff finalize year-end records and prepare Genesis for the new year.

Transportation Forms

Based on the distance from your primary residence to your child's school, the following forms may be available in your parent portal:

• Subscription Busing Form. For families whose children do not qualify for district transportation but want a paid seat if one becomes available.
• Transportation Opt-Out Form. For families whose children qualify for the bus but do not plan to ride next year. Telling us early helps the district plan routes and free seats for other students.
• Transportation Opt-In Form. Reverse an earlier opt-out if your plans change.

Forms appear in your portal based on your child's transportation status.

Dates to Mark on Your Calendar

• June 30, 2026 PowerSchool access ends.
• August 5, 2026 Return to School Forms open in Genesis. Complete these early. Access to schedules, teacher assignments, and transportation depends on completed forms.
• Last Week of August 2026 Teacher assignments, class schedules, and transportation information go live in Genesis. Families with incomplete Return to School Forms see those items delayed.
