Your Genesis Parent Portal Is Active
Hanover Township Public Schools is moving from PowerSchool to Genesis, our new Student Information System. Here is what to expect and how to get ready.
Your Timeline
- Now Genesis Parent Portal accounts are now active. Search for an email from notifications@htboe.org with your login details.
- June 30, 2026 PowerSchool access ends. Use it for 2025-2026 grades, attendance, and records until then.
- August 5, 2026 Return to School Forms open in Genesis. Complete them early.
- Last Week of August 2026 Teacher assignments, class schedules, and transportation information go live in Genesis.

Chromebook 1:1 Policy
Chromebook Care:
Care and appropriate use of devices is very important.
- Chromebooks must be kept in their cases at all time.
- Food and drink should NOT be anywhere near the chromebook.
- Charge the chromebook regularly in a safe place in your home.
- Chromebooks should be used for school work only.
Repair and Device Help:
If you are experiencing issues with your chromebook we recommend you restarting the chromebook first.
To restart a Chromebook, simply click on the time in the bottom right corner of your screen, then select "Power" and choose "Restart" from the menu that appears.
If this does not fix the issue, or you are experiencing different issues with the chromebook, please reach out to your school's educational technology specialist.
