Water Testing Results

Hanover Township Public Schools is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff. As part of our ongoing efforts to meet state and federal requirements, the district conducts regular testing of drinking water sources to monitor lead levels and ensure compliance with New Jersey Department of Education regulations.

Notification to Families and Staff

In April 2025, water samples were collected from district facilities and submitted for certified laboratory analysis. The results, along with a formal notification letter, are provided below for your review:

Transparency and Safety

If elevated lead levels are identified in any fixture, the district follows state guidelines, which may include removing the fixture from service, installing filters, replacing equipment, and re-testing until results are within safe limits.

We are committed to transparency and will continue to post testing results and letters here as they become available.
