In the event that a change in the format is required, notification will be sent out several days prior to the meeting date and will include details about the change.
The Hanover Township Schools Parent Advisory Group for Children with Special Needs provides a forum for collaboration between parents, other members of the community and the staff and administration of the school district. The group is focused on pursuing the following central goals:
- Increasing and maintaining positive communication and collaboration between parents and the Department of Special Services.
- Providing opportunities for open dialogue specific to suporting parents of children with special needs in a format similar to the one used for PTA meetings.
- Providing parents with a forum to exchange and share information about resources available in the community.
