    Welcome to the website of Mrs. Colasuonno. Please visit frequently for updates on homework, classroom activities, and school events. It will be an exciting year in kindergarten! Grades K-5 are using the Envisions math program. Envisions Math is an engaging, thought- provoking program that allows students to problem solve using manipulatives and many online resources. Our reading program, Superkids, uses a variety of activities to enhance reading, writing, spelling, and grammar skills. The Character Education topics this fall are Respect and Caring. Students will participate in many activities that promote these important character traits. Trees and Weather are the focus in science. Students will also explore the wonderful world of engineering this year. Social studies units during MP1 and MP2 include Learning and Working Together, National and State Symbols, and Work Now and Long Ago. We look forward to a fun-filled year that concludes with our Superkids celebration in June!
