Welcome to Media!
All throughout the school year, we will be sharing wonderful books in Media and learning about different authors, illustrators and genres. We will continue to work on our library research skills and learn how to use different print and online resources in the library.

Library Volunteers are Welcome!
Donating your time at the SDS Library is a great way to help the school community. Volunteers are needed throughout the school year to assist the librarian by shelving, processing and repairing books and periodicals. One hour a week or every other week is all that is required. If you are interested in volunteering in our media center, please contact Mrs. Pedalino at 973-515-2447.

List of Recommended Picture Books for Read-a-Thon Guest Readers
Thank you so much for volunteering to come in to read to your child's class during this year's Read-a-Thon. I am so happy you are joining us as we celebrate reading together over these two fun-filled weeks. Here is a list of suggested book titles for you to consider. Another idea is to bring in your child's favorite book from home or have your child help choose a book from the Whippanong Library or Morris County Library.
