    Instructor: Mr. Pomel


         Hello!  My name is Matthew Pomel and I am the Vocal & General Music Teacher at Mountview Road and Salem Drive Schools.  I am looking forward to helping your children discover the joys of music.  In order to do this, the students will be taking part in a variety of music activities including: singing, playing instruments, creating music, listening to music, and moving to music.  All of these activities are part of the National Standards for Music Education and are designed to help each child develop musical skills and to become aware of and appreciate many eclectic genres of music.

     

         Professionally Mr. Pomel has been recognized as a Hanover Township School District Teacher of the Year.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Pomel is also an internationally published composer and an active member of ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers).
